Temporary Suspension of Operations in the DFA Consular Office in Tacloban City on 22 October 2024 Starting 12:01 PM

TACLOBAN CITY 22 October 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) will be closed on 22 October 2024 starting 12:01 PM pursuant to Executive Order No. 2024-10-64 issued by the City Government of Tacloban dated 22 October 2024 due to tropical storm Kristine.

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Wednesday, 23 October 2024.

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from until 22 November 2024 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
