Suspension of Operations at DFA Aseana, Consular Office’s (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) on 25 October 2024

MANILA 24 October 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that consular operations at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) operations in Luzon shall be suspended on Friday, 25 October 2024, in view of the announcement made by the Office of the Executive Secretary, due to the continuous heavy rainfall brought about by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointments from Wednesday to Friday, 23-25 October 2024, at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) in Luzon will be rescheduled as follows:

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

1. Reschedule of Passport Appointment of affected applicants from 23 to 25 October 2024:

Affected passport applicants at DFA Aseana and COs will be accommodated beginning Monday, 28 October 2024, to Thursday, 28 November 2024, at their respective original appointment site. 

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated from Monday, 28 October 2024, to Thursday, 28 November 2024, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment. 1. Passport Release

Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Friday, 25 October 2024, and will resume operations on Monday, 28 October, 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 23 - 25 October 2024.
