Suspension of Consular Operations at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services Starting 12 noon on 31 October 2024

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 28 October 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that consular operations at DFA Aseana, all Consular Offices (COs), and all Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) operations nationwide shall be suspended starting 12 noon, Thursday, 31 October 2024, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 67 of Malacañan signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Tuesday in order for government employees to properly observe Undas tradition and allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country, and promote domestic tourism.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointments on Thursday, 31 October 2024, at DFA Aseana, all Consular Offices (COs), and all Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) nationwide will be rescheduled as follows:

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

1. Reschedule of Passport Appointment of affected applicants on 31 October 2024:

Affected passport applicants at DFA Aseana and all COs will be accommodated beginning Monday, 04 November 2024, to Monday, 02 December 2024, at their respective original appointment site. 

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated from Monday, 04 November 2024, to Monday, 02 December 2024, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment. For guidance, applicants may visit the attached link to verify the corresponding SCO per TOPS Site:

1. Passport Release

Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations at 12 noon, on Thursday, 31 October 2024, and will resume operations on Monday, 04 November, 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 31 October 2024.
