Temporary Suspension of Operations in DFA Consular Office Tacloban on 15 November 2024

TACLOBAN 15 November 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular  Office  in  Tacloban  City  (CO  Tacloban)  will  be  closed  on  15  November  2024, Today,  pursuant  to the enclosed  Executive  Order  No.  2024-11-69,  “An  Executive Order Suspending Classes in all Levels and Work in all Government Offices in Tacloban City on November 15, 2024 starting 12:01 PM” issued by the City Mayor of Tacloban due to Typhoon “Pepito”.

Affected  applicants  with  confirmed  appointments  who  are  unable  to  avail  of  consular services  due  to  the  suspension  of  operations  will  be  accommodated  from  18  November 2024  until  16  December  2024  (Monday  to  Friday  except  holidays)  during  CO’s  regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
