Temporary Suspension  of Operations in the DFA Consular  Office in Tacloban City

TACLOBAN CITY 18 December 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its  Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) is closed today, 18 December 2024 due to Tropical depression “Querubin” and the City of Tacloban’s Executive Order No. 2024- 12-079 dated 17 December 2024. 

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Thursday, 19 December 2024. 

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular  services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from 19  December 2024 until 20 January 2025 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
