Temporary Suspension of Operations in the Consular Office in Tacloban City on 10 February 2025 Starting 12:01 P.M. 

TACLOBAN 10 February 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its  Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) will be closed on 10 February 2025 starting 12:01 PM pursuant to Executive Order No. 2025-02-11 issued by the City Government of Tacloban dated 10 February 2025 due to heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions. 

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Tuesday, 11 February 2025. Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from until 10 March 2025 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
