Consular Offices to Open Saturday Operations for Women on 08 & 22 March 2025

MANILA 28 February 2025 — In celebration of National Women’s Month this March 2025, the Office Consular Affairs located at the Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City, as well as DFA Consular Offices all over the country, will be open to all women, who would like to avail themselves of authentication and passport services on two Saturdays, 08 and 22 March 2025.

With this initiative the DFA provides more access to women, especially those working during weekdays, to apply for passport and apostille.

Passport Application Guidelines:

  1. Women may avail the services through:
  2. Women of any age will be accommodated.
  3. Women applicants are allowed to bring one (1) immediate family member (i.e., spouse, adult children, or adult sibling only) with proof of relationship OR one (1) traveling companion with proof of travel with the applicant (i.e. flight booking, or hotel booking). All minor children of the woman applicant will be accommodated.
  4. Regular Courtesy Lane applicants (senior citizens, PWDs, Solo Parents, and OFWs), regardless of sex, will also be accommodated.
  5. Application Fees: Cash payment only
    • Expedited Passport Fee: Php 1200.00
    • Courier (optional): Php 150.00
  6. Individuals eligible for the use of courtesy lane must present a duly accomplished Passport Application Form which could be accessed on the link below (one for each applicant):

7. Applicants with confirmed passport appointment on the said dates shall be accommodated regardless of sex and age.'

8. No passport releasing on the said dates.

9. Walk-in applicants with incomplete requirements and those unable to come on their confirmed passport appointment due to a valid reason            are given only until 31 March 2025 to comply and return to their original site of application.

11. Unless stated above, existing rules and guidelines for the use of courtesy lanes, and passport processing will be followed.

Authentication and Apostille Guidelines:

2. An authentication fee of Php 200 is charged per document. 

3. Note that no walk-in will be allowed.

The Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) reminds all applicants that the courtesy lane privileges for women does not constitute or guarantee approval of either authentication or passport application. All applicants will be processed in accordance with the existing laws, rules, and regulations of authentication and passport processing and a complete set of requirements must be submitted by the applicant.
