Suspension of Operations in DFA CO Zamboanga on 26 June 2025 in Observance of Amun Jadid or Islamic New Year

ZAMBOANGA 16 June 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that its Consular Office (CO) in Zamboanga City will be closed on Thursday, 26 June 2025, in observance of Amun Jadid or Islamic New Year, which is recognized as a legal Muslim holiday by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1083 otherwise known as the Muslim Code of the Philippines.

Consular operations will resume on Friday, 27 June 2025.
