DFA Statement on the Lowering of the Alert Level in Iran

MANILA 18 July 2025 – In view of the positive developments in the security situation in Iran, the Department of Foreign Affairs lowers the Alert Level in Iran from Level 3 (Voluntary Repatriation) to Level 2 (Restriction Phase), effective immediately.

Despite the lowering of the Alert Level, the Philippine Embassy in Tehran will continue facilitating the voluntary repatriation of Filipinos.

The Department will closely monitor the situation in the region and will update the Alert Levels, as necessary. END
