Temporary Suspension of Operations in DFA Consular Office in Tacloban City on 30 July 2025 Starting 1:00 PM

TACLOBAN 30 July 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) will be closed on 30 July 2025, Today starting 01:00 PM pursuant to Executive Order No. 2025-07-35 issued by the City Government of Tacloban dated 30 July 2025 in preparation for the Potential Tsunami Threat.

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated on 01 August 2025 until 01 September 2025 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (10:00AM to 5:00PM)Applicants requiring emergency or urgent consular services may contact CO Tacloban (This email address is being protected from spambots.
