Suspension of Operations at DFA CO Candon on 15 August 2025

CANDON 14 August 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the Public that passport service at the DFA Consular Office in Candon City, Ilocos Sur will be suspended on Friday, 15 August 2025 in celebration of the declaration of the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Sta. Maria as a Minor Basilica. This suspension is in accordance with Executive Order No. 18 s.2025 issued by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur.

Affected applicants for passport services with confirmed appointments on 15 August 2025 at the Consular Office in Candon City will be accommodated from 18 August 2025, Monday, to 17 September 2025, Wednesday.
