PHL Embassy in Yangon Organizes Training on Self Defense
01 June 2017 YANGON— The Philippine Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar organized its 2nd Gender and Development Activity entitled “Women Empowerment: Learn to Defend Yourself!” on May 27 at the Chatrium Hotel. The self-defense training was conducted by trainers from the Myanmar Women Self-Defense Center (MWSDC). The GAD activity focused on self-defense to equip Filipino women with basic knowledge on what to do during life-threatening situations.
