PASAY CITY, 08 August 2021 — The DFA Ladies Foundation Inc. (DFALF), in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philippines, Inc. (RMHC), distributed a total of 500 Kindness Kitchen meals to frontliners that participated in the vaccination drive organized by Pasay City last July and August.

Recipients included the Pasay LGU Vaccination Team at the vaccination site in SM MOA Galleon Museum on 21 July and 07 August 2021. DFALF’s gesture was a token of appreciation to Pasay LGU for accommodating DFA personnel in its vaccination program and assisting in the DFA’s vaccination drive.  Meals were also provided to the DFA vaccination team, the Philippine Red Cross swabbing team, and the DFA Day Care Center team.

Both DFALF and RMHC share the same goal of helping the community especially in times of need.  McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen was launched in March 2020, at the height of the enhanced community quarantine, with a goal of serving meals to support frontliners and marginalized communities amidst the pandemic. This year, the DFALF is celebrating 25 years of making a difference to its members and the DFA community at large. END
