Swiss Embassy turns over cash donation to the International Bazaar Foundation, Inc.

PASAY CITY, 17 December 2021 – Swiss Ambassador to the Philippines Alain Gaschen turned over a donation amounting to Php100,000.00 to the International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF) Chairperson Maria Lourdes B. Locsin on 02 December 2021 at the SM Mall of Asia. 

The donation will be used to fund the Food Share Program of the Kabisig ng Kalahi in Barangay Libo, Panukulan, Quezon. Kabisig ng Kalahi is one of the partners of the IBF in its livelihood projects.

On the same occasion, the Embassy of Switzerland, in partnership with SM Supermalls, led the tree lighting ceremony at SM Mall of Asia in line with the Angels for Angels 2021 project. Ambassador Gaschen, through the facilitation of Mme. Locsin, tapped HABI, the Philippine Textile Council, to produce the Christmas tree decorative angels using up-cycled materials. The proceeds of the sale will be donated to World Vision. END
