International Bazaar Foundation donates to Kanlungan Sa Er-Ma Ministry Inc.

PASAY CITY, 07 December 2021 – The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF), led by Chairperson Mme. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin, and its Board Members turned over 300 pails containing basic necessities and stuffed toys to the Kanlungan sa Er-Ma Ministry Inc. on 26 November 2021 at the Department of Foreign Affairs. Mesdames Riita Laakso and Jungeun Lee, Members of the Spouses of the Heads of Mission, also attended the turn-over event.

Kanlungan sa Er-Ma Ministry, Inc. is a non-profit, non-government organization geared towards the holistic development of children in need of special protection. It was established in response to the growing danger of abuse and exploitation of street children in Metro Manila. Kanlungan provides street children with first-aid, counseling, health education and recreational activities. The organization is one of the beneficiaries of IBF’s charity projects and social programs. 

Registered as a non-stock, non-profit organization since 1995, the IBF aims “to help change the lives of the marginalized sectors of society by generating capital and providing services that contribute to the health and well-being of the communities they serve; to provide scholarship grants to deserving indigent students, support for the elderly, abused and abandoned children and victims of natural disaster”.  END
