Secretary Locsin swears in 2022 DFA Ladies Foundation Board of Trustees
Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. administers virtually the oath of office of the newly elected Board of Trustees of the DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF) on 7 February 2022. Witnessing the oath-taking was DFALF Chairperson, Mme. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin.
The DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF) conducted its annual oath taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Foundation on 07 February 2022. The event was conducted virtually via Zoom and was administered by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. and DFALF Chairperson, Mme. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin.
Outgoing DFALF President, Consul General Marie Yvette Banzon Abalos briefly discussed the election process held last year and formally presented the following elected Board of Trustees:
- President - Deputy Assistant Secretary Kristine Leilani R. Salle, OMWA
- First Vice President - Director Mary Jennifer D. Dingal, OMEAA
- Second Vice President - Ms. Girlie R. Dinso, UBRAA
- Corporate Secretary - Atty. April R. Casquejo, HRMO
- Assistant Corporate Secretary - Ms. Maria Cecilia P. Wenceslao, OSEC
- Treasurer - Ms. Joena R. Flores, OFMS
- Assistant Treasurer - Ms. Jennifer V. Sto. Domingo, MOAO
- Auditor - Ms. Cherill R. Tubojan-Uzaraga, OAMSS
- Assistant Auditor - Ms. Loremie O. Bautista, OCA
In her remarks, DFALF Chairperson Mme. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin expressed her appreciation to the outgoing Board members and commended their efforts during a milestone year. Mme. Locsin also voiced her support to the 2022 DFALF Board of Trustees and looked forward to another memorable year for DFALF, its members, and the community.
Outgoing Treasurer Ms. Jacqueline L. Ong, who hosted the online ceremony, provided a brief update on the status of DFALF funds as of 31 December 2021.

The newly inducted DFALF President, Deputy Assistant Secretary Kristine Leilani R. Salle, thanked and acknowledged the achievements of the Chairperson and the 2021 DFALF Board of Trustees in the past year. She added that the accomplishments of the Foundation will certainly inspire the incoming Board of Trustees to do their best to fulfill the mandate and trust given by the members.
