06 July 2015 – The AMA Foundation, Inc. and the Department of Foreign Affairs Ladies Foundation, Inc. (DFALF) signed a new Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the AMA-DFALF Scholarship Program held at the Buddha Bar Manila on June 26.
The AMA-DFALF Scholarship Program will provide 30 College Degree (four-year) and 10 Technical-Vocational (two-year) courses in any AMA Education System (AMAES) affiliated campuses to qualified DFALF members and their dependents. The MOA was signed by AMA Chairman Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V and DFALF Chairperson Madame Gretchen V. del Rosario.
Also present during the event are DFALF’s Board of Trustees: President Maria Fe Pangilinan, 1st Vice President Leilani Feliciano, Secretary Eivette Lagman, Treasurer Rohanifah Marabong and Auditor Jocelyn Balili. AMAES Chief Operating Officer Arnel Hibo and Dr. Marie Redina Victoria also attended the event.
Six previous scholars gave their testimonial to express their gratitude to both Foundations by citing their experiences and how the Scholarship Program helped them in the realization of their dreams.
“We are heartened to see how the scholarships enhanced the professional and personal lives of our beneficiaries,” Madame del Rosario said.
AMA Chairman Dr. Aguiluz noted that the MOA with DFALF aims to provide quality education to needy but deserving students. END
