Bangkok 2

20 November 2013 - Prantalay Marketing Public Co. Limited, a Thai company, turned over to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok on November 14, 2,778 boxes containing 100,000 of  “Mobile Meal” packets, a meal-ready-to-eat (MRE) for the victims of super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

According to company executives who presented the donation to Philippine Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia, the MRE is ideal for emergency situations when access to regular food supply is extremely difficult to impossible. The MRE has a shelf life of one year. END
