AUTHENTICATION
6 December 2013 – The Royal Government of Cambodia donated USD 100,000 as assistance for relief operations in the areas affected by typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). The donation was coursed through the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh on November 17.
Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ung Sean handed over a check representing the donation to Mr. Jose A. Cabrera III, the Embassy’s Charge d’ Affaires, a.i.
Secretary Ung Sean said that in the spirit of friendship and solidarity, Cambodia contributed to the relief efforts in view of the massive destruction caused by the super typhoon.
Ms. Cabrera conveyed the deepest gratitude and appreciation of the Filipino people and the Philippine Government for the friendship, kindness and solidarity shown by the Kingdom of Cambodia. END
