Consular Offices Successfully Conduct Saturday Operations for Women

MANILA 03 April 2024 – In line with the celebration of the National Women’s Month this March 2024, the Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs (DFA - OCA) has successfully conducted its first Saturday operations for women.
All Consular Offices nationwide opened their doors to all women passport applicants of all ages and their dependents on 16 March 2024. The activity’s goal is to assist all women, especially working women and mothers, as they avail of passport services on a weekend without the need for online appointment.
It was able to serve more than 2900 women passport applicants including their dependents such as minor children, siblings and husbands in one day. Meanwhile, other Consular Offices at NCR South in Muntinlupa City, Butuan, Clarin, Misamis Occidental, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Kidapawan, Cotabato and Paniqui, Tarlac have also provided passport services for women on other Saturdays of the Month.
OCA acknowledges and appreciates the tremendous contribution of all women in our society. In this regard, the office reaffirms its commitment to continuously deliver inclusive and responsive services to all Filipinos and its stakeholders. END
