ABOUT BFSE

The Board of Foreign Service Examinations, pursuant to the provisions of the Foreign Service Act (R.A. 7157) of 1991 and its Implementing Guidelines, is tasked to conduct the Foreign Service Officer Examination to recruit candidates for appointment to the position of Foreign Service Officer, Class IV (FSO IV). In view of this, the Board adopts its own rules to carry out the provisions of the Act and its duties and functions.
