PH Embassy in Rome Launches End Violence Against Women Campaign
PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Rome, together with the Filipino Community in Italy, launched the 18-day campaign to end violence against women (VAW) during a short program at the Embassy’s consular section on 26 November 2018.
In his message, Consul General Adrian Bernie Candolada of the Philippine Consulate General in Rome underscored the role of all individuals in combating violence against women and girls.
The Embassy also distributed flyers on R.A. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 to members of the Filipino Community to increase awareness on VAW during the launch of Post’s 18-Day Campaign to End VAW held at the consular area of the Embassy. (Rome PE photos)
