PH Embassy in Oslo Joins the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Oslo joined the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) from 25 November to 12 December 2018.

With this year’s theme “VAW-free community starts with me,” the Embassy conducted an information campaign for the religious communities—Sacred Heart Filipino Chaplaincy—Our Lady of Mount Carmel Council, Jesus is Lord, and Living Word Bible Center-Norway, on 07 and 09 December 2018.

During the information campaign, the Embassy encouraged Filipinos to report cases of domestic abuse to the Embassy, and to local police and health and social services. Filipinos were also encouraged to give the Embassy constructive feedback on how it can improve its delivery of services for abused women.
