DFA Consular Office in General Santos Supports the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

GENERAL SANTOS CITY 09 December 2019 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office (CO) in General Santos City joins the nation in its campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW).
CO General Santos City firmly declared its support to the government’s efforts in raising awareness on the problem of violence experienced by women of any age, skin color, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disabilities, economic and social status on 25 November 2019.
With the theme “VAW-free community starts with Me,” all CO personnel have worn the t-shirt design released by the Philippine Commission on Women, which exhibits the official label of the said campaign. A poster standee that highlights information on how society can contribute to achieving the shared vision of a community free from violence against women and girls was likewise displayed at CO’s entryway.
