MANILA 10 March 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Secretariat, held a two-day GAD Planning Session and Workshop for the GAD Focal Point Officers (GFPOs) from 27 to 28 February 2020 in Antipolo, Rizal.

The planning session and workshop allowed the GFPOs to review the GAD Agenda for 2019-2022 and to ensure that it is aligned with the guidelines set by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in its Memorandum Circular 2018-04.

In addition, the GFPOs who attended the Gender Academy held in Turin, Italy last November 2019 echoed the learning and discussions of their training to the rest of the GFPOs and the GAD Secretariat. END
