PHOTO: Members of the Filipino Community who visited the Consulate for consular services or other transactions received VAW-free t-shirts and hygiene kits consisting of masks and hand sanitizers as part of the Consulate’s awareness campaign to support the Philippine Commission on Women’s 18-Day Campaign to end Violence Against Women. The brochures on VAW and Anti-Trafficking in Persons, including the Reminders to Filipinos in China, were also distributed to the Filipinos who have not yet received a copy of these brochures. Chongqing PCG Personnel joined the virtual lecture of the PCW entitled, “Bawal Bastos Dito – Anti Sexual Harassment Law and Safe Spaces Act” held at the Consulate’s conference room on 09 December 2020. The event started with a flag ceremony featuring an all-women cast. This was followed by VAW Prayer. (Chongqing PCG)
