DFA Consular Office in Tacloban Joins the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and their Children
TACLOBAN 15 December 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office (CO) in Tacloban successfully ended the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and their Children on 12 December 2020.
During the 18-Day campaign, CO Tacloban personnel wore Orange Polo shirts on all Fridays and used the Philippine Commission on Women’s Facebook profile frame. Video presentations were also displayed in the consular area. Other activities of the CO included conduct of a virtual Basic Self-Defense Training and the distribution of hygiene kits, IEC Materials, printed round fans and button pins with the theme “VAW Free Community Starts with Me”.
