PH Embassy in Damascus Holds Overseas Filipino Reintegration Program Webinar in Collaboration with PH Embassy in Beirut and the Overseas Filipino Bank

DAMASCUS 22 March 2021 — As part of the its celebration of the National Women’s Month this March, the Philippine Embassy in Damascus in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in Beirut and the Overseas Filipino Bank (OFBank) of the Landbank of the Philippines, held the second financial awareness webinar entitled Overseas Filipino Reintegration Program on 21 March 2021 via Zoom and Facebook Live, which was attended by the wards of the Filipino Workers Resource Center (FWRC), as well as Filipino Community members in Syria and Lebanon. 

Mr. Gerald T. Heriales, Overseas Representative Office for the Middle East Region of the OFBank served as the Resource Person for the event.

The Webinar focused on other programs that OFs may avail with OFBank while earning abroad and upon their return to the Philippines, particularly the loan service.  Mr. Heriales also entertained questions after his presentation.

The webinar benefitted a total of one hundred-five (105) Overseas Filipinos, of which majority were female.
