PH Embassy in Manama Supports Badminton Tournament for Breast Cancer Awareness

MANAMA 02 November 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain supported the Smash for a Cause Badminton tournament of Filipino Community Organization, Filipino Club (FC)- Pinoy Badminton Group, held on 29 October 2021 at Muharraq Sports Club.
Filipino Club Pinoy badminton Group is an organization of Filipinos in Bahrain that has been actively involved in charitable activities assisting distressed OFs who need medical and financial assistance.
The tournament was organized as part of Breast Cancer Awareness activities and was participated by 64 players. The beneficiaries of the badminton tournament are Overseas Filipino Workers in Bahrain who are suffering from breast cancer.
At the end of the tournament, the Green Team bagged the Championship. Blue Team placed 1st Runner-up, Red Team placed 2nd Runner-up and Yellow Team placed 3rd Runner-up. END
