In Iraq, the Philippine Embassy in Iraq inaugurated the beginning of 18-day International Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) with an event hosting victim of human trafficking, the Filipino community in Baghdad, and representatives from international organizations. During the beginning of 18-day International Campaign to End VAW, Ambassador Generoso D.G. Calonge discussed the focus the Philippine government confers to this advocacy with Ambassador Rosario G.
