PH Embassy in Australia joins nationwide “VAW-free community starts with me” campaign

CANBERRA, 10 December 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Canberra, Australia, led by Ambassador Ma Hellen B. De La Vega, joins the Philippines’ nationwide campaign to end violence against women (VAW) with the theme “VAW-free community starts with me.”

This campaign highlights the fundamental right of women to live a life free from violence. We enjoin all our kababayans in Australia to work with each other, with your local communities and with the Embassy to end violence against women and to create safe spaces in our home and in workplaces END
