DFA Consular Office in General Santos City Celebrates 2022 Women’s Month

GENERAL SANTOS, 08 March 2022 – The DFA Consular Office (CO) in General Santos City launched its campaign on the occasion of the National Women’s Month Celebration. With this year’s theme, “WE Make Change Work for Women: Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran”, CO General Santos’ campaign includes the playing of videos for women empowerment at its Reception Area, observing Purple Tuesdays among its personnel, and distributing advocacy collaterals to its clients for the entire month of March.

An advocacy booth was likewise set up which features a Trivia Book containing a collection of facts about remarkable women in the Philippine history, Advocacy Collaterals which aimed at addressing gender issues in areas such as Education, Shelter and Civil Service to name a few, and a Photo Booth to appeal to the public’s attention and strengthen the campaign to ensure women contribute to and benefit from development and changes.
