Philippine Embassy in Washington DC Celebrates National Women’s Month through Special Screening of “Ang Kababaihan ng Malolos” 

WASHINGTON D.C. 10 March 2022 – In celebration of the National Women’s Month, the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C, through the Sentro Rizal Washington D.C., will host a special virtual screening of the Filipino indie film “Ang Kababaihan ng Malolos” from 20 until 26 March 2022.

The film, directed by award-winning directors Sari Dalena and Kiri Dalena dramatizes the events from 1888 to 1906 when the Women of Malolos worked for the liberation of the country and of Filipino women.
