DFA Pampanga’s Women’s Lane for Passport Applicants in Celebration of the International Women’s Day

PAMPANGA 17 March 2022 — The DFA Consular Office in San Fernando, Pampanga provided special lanes for women passport applicants, particularly those with children and the elderly, in celebration of the International Women’s Day on 08 March 2022. 

A total of seventy-three women applicants and twelve children were accommodated in the said special lanes.

In line with the 2022 theme: “Agenda ng Kababaihan Tungo sa kaunlaran”, GAD focal persons Mlles. Reylin Danielle Piozon and Janine Ann Santos also conducted a “Kaalaman sa Negosyo” information briefing focusing on “Online Business and Online Shopping”.

This was part of its GAD’s Women Empowerment advocacy which was aimed at encouraging women to be entrepreneur and become financially independent. They also shared important information on the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) “Negosyo Center”. Information flyers were distributed and made available throughout the day to interested applicants. END
