“Kalusugan Para Kang Juana, Ingkung at Apu” Health Drive at DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga

Pampanga CO 1

PAMPANGA 22 March 2022 — Health monitoring, disease prevention and general well-being among female and elderly applicants were the focus of the third activity of the DFA Consular Office (DFA-CO) in San Fernando Pampanga on 14 March 2022 in line with the Women’s Month celebration.

“Kalusugan Para Kang Juana, Ingkung at Apu” Health Drive, which translates to kalusugan para kay Juana, Lolo at lola in Kapampangan, offered free blood pressure check, glucose level and oxygen level tests particularly to women and elderly passport applicants.  The tests were administered by two registered nurses Mlles. Airish Alfaro-Angeles and Annie Lugtu.

DFA CO’s health drive emphasized the importance of health monitoring as an effective way to disease prevention as DFA-CO in Pampanga brought these basic monitoring checks conveniently closer to the applicants and while waiting for their turn during passport and authentication applications.

The health booth was made available to all passport and authentication applicants throughout the day during the consular office’s operation hours. It was also extended to interested accompanying persons and mall passers-by and has serviced 86 people. END
