PH Embassy in Moscow Celebrates Women’s Month with Activities Aimed at Ensuring Personal Security and Wellness

MOSCOW, 24 March 2022 – In celebration of this year's Internaional Women's Month, the Philippine Embassy in Moscow organized three activities focused obn personal security and wellness.

The first two activities, a fire drill followed by a lecture-workshop on coping with crisis situations, were held on 18 March 2022 and were participated in by Embassy personnel. Both activities aimed at increasing awareness and equipping women with skills to improve their preparedness in crisis situations. The Embassy’s Administrative Section organized the fire drill, while Defense and Armed Forces Attaché, Colonel Rhojun Rosales served as the resource person during the coping with crisis situations workshop.

The third activity held  via Zoom on 19 March 2022 focused on achieving both physical and mental wellness through proper nutrition, and was participated in by the Embassy personnel and Filipino community members. The online lecture entitled, “Food and Mood: How Diet and Nutrition Affect Mental Well-Being”, was presented by Ms. Aprilaine Shalom Bautista-Sulit, RND, a Registered Nutritionist and Dietitian in the Philippines. The lecture was attended by over 60 virtual participants. END

The Webinar, entitled “Food and Mood: How Diet and Nutrition Affect Mental Well-Being”, was attended by members of the Filipino community and Embassy personnel. END
