PH Embassy in Baghdad Celebrates International Women’s Month in Erbil

 
International Women’s Month in Iraq. The Philippine Embassy in Baghdad celebrated the International Women's Month on Friday, 25 March 2022, at the Hanzo Plaza in Erbil City Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The activity included lectures on government services for women, testimonials from groups & individuals who have assisted trafficking victims, and the journey towards the BalikManggagawa Program 2021. The event was highlighted by a recognition of outstanding Filipinas in their respective fields.

International Women’s Month in Iraq. Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jomar T. Sadie award Certificates of Citation to outstanding Filipino individuals in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq whose works or projects proved beneficial for women. Mr. Reynaldo A. Sy (right) was recognized for fostering volunteerism, Ms. RevicSaucelo (second from right), for sheltering human trafficking victims, Ms. Christine Luna (second from left) for inspiring women entrepreneurs and Ms. Annie Saucelo (left) for voicing out the concerns of women and OFWs.
