Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy, FSI Tackle Use of Gender-Fair Language in the Workplace

LA UNION 28 July 2022 – In line with its objective of promoting gender sensitivity and a more inclusive and gender-fair working environment, the Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy (OPCD) of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) conducted a Team Building and Gender and Development (GAD) Workshop Seminar in San Fernando, La Union on 22-23 July 2022.
OPCD personnel, together with its senior officers, Assistant Secretary Eduardo Martin R. Meñez, DFA Spokesperson Ma. Teresita C. Daza, and Deputy Assistant Secretary Gonaranao B. Musor, engaged in both meaningful and fun discussion/activities about gender sensitivity and the use of gender-fair language in the workplace.
Ms. Dulce Amor Fortunado of the Foreign Service Institute served as the lead resource person for the teambuilding and GAD workshop. END
