DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga Conducts Activities for its 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children

PAMPANGA 14 December 2022 — The DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga kicked off its 18-day campaign to End Violence on Women and Children on 25 November 2022 with free blood pressure check to consular applicants to highlight the importance of health prevention among women and children.

It also conducted a series of briefings to applicants while waiting for their turn for passport service, on issues concerning women’s rights, anti-sexual harassment and anti-child trafficking to further spread awareness on their rights, where to lodge complaints and various government programs in place to ensure the protection of women and children. 

The 18-day campaign culminated on 12 December 2022 with a pledge of DFA Consular Office personnel to continuously uphold and work for the protection of women and children, amplify their voices and promote acceptance of all gender identities.  END
