DFA Pampanga Promotes Diabetes Awareness on International Women's Day

PAMPANGA 13 March 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in San Fernando Pampanga conducted the “Let’s Beat Diabetes” Health Drive to commemorate the International Women’s Day on 08 March 2023.  

The office’s two registered nurses administered free sugar level tests among its personnel, particularly women personnel, applicants and the public throughout the day to encourage them to pay attention to their sugar intake for better health. They were also given basic information flyers on diabetes and how to manage the disease.

A special lane for women for passport and authentication applicants were also opened to commemorate the International Women’s Day.  Mobile phone holders were also distributed to women applicants.  END
