PH Embassy in Oslo Organizes Art Therapy Workshop for Women

OSLO, 29 March 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in Oslo organized an Art Therapy Workshop on 25 March 2023, in celebration of the 2023 National Women's Month.

Participated by women employees of the Embassy and their daughters, as well as some members of the Filipino community in Norway, the activity aimed to give participants an opportunity to detach themselves from everyday stressors and release negative emotions and stress through art.

Ms. Ruby Rose Alison, a Filipino artist based in Norway, also a medical practitioner, and a women's mental health advocate, facilitated the workshop in coordination with the Embassy´s Gender and Development Section.

The event is just one of the series of activities conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Oslo in celebration of the 2023 National Women's Month. The Embassy continues to support activities that promote women's mental health. END
