DFA San Fernando Pampanga Holds Women's Month Poster-Making Competition
Winning posters of the Temporary Offsite Passport Service (TOPS) site Olongapo and CO San Fernando, Pampanga Releasing-Authentication Section.
SAN FERNANDO 05 April 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Temporary Offsite Passport Service (TOPS) Olongapo and Releasing-Authentication Section of the Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga bagged the top prize for the Women’s Month Poster-Making Competition conducted by the DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga as it concluded its month-long celebration on 31 March 2023.
Seven (7) entries from four offices supervised by DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga competed in the poster-making to raise awareness on different women’s issues and concerns with the theme “WE are all for Gender Equality, WE are all for an inclusive society”. The posters were displayed at the consular section as part of the consular office’s awareness campaign.
Personnel from the Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in Olongapo City and DFA Pampanga’s Releasing-Authentication Section tied for first place with their creative, original, impactful and clearly conveyed the messages of inclusivity.
In addition to the winners, participating groups include personnel from DFA Zambales; TOPS SF Pampanga; and groups from DFA Pampanga’s Processing Section; Admin-Finance Section; and Encoding Section. Earlier this month, the Consular Office also held a video editing and poster-making workshop for its personnel in line with this year’s “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” objective.
To cap the 2023 Women’s Month celebration, the Consular Office recognized four (4) Outstanding Female Employees for their contribution to the office’s 2022 GAD programs and projects: Ms. Reylin Danielle P. Piozon and Ms. Janine Ann B. Santos as GAD focal persons; Ms. Airish A. Angeles and Ms. Annie C. Lugtu for their assistance to GAD’s Health Drive programs as registered nurses. END
