PH Embassy in Madrid Holds Pinay Pasiklaban Concert Featuring Pinoy Pop Rock Artist

The Philippine Embassy in Spain organized the Pinay Pasiklaban Concert featuring Ms. Kitchie Nadal and six rising Filipina singers based in Spain and also to encourage all Filipinas to give their best shot in their endeavors. In commemoration of the Philippine Women's Month, this free concert was warmly embraced by the Filipino and Spanish community, who filled out the almost 600-seater venue in Madrid (Poster by Ms. Vanessa Linda Enrejo Perez).

MADRID 04 April 2024 – On 23 March 2024, Filipinos have come out to show their support for women empowerment through the Pinay Pasiklaban concert, featuring pop rock artist Ms. Kitchie Nadal along with six rising Filipina singers in Spain, namely Kristal Santhea Ecleo, Claire Angie Lansang, Rochelle Serrano, Jinky Joy Galano, Jacee Amon and Nadine Bico, who have all rendered a world-class performance in front of 600-strong combined Filipino and Spanish audience at the Colegio Salesiano Estrecho.  

This free concert was organized by the Philippine Embassy in Spain, in collaboration with attached agencies and several Filipino organizations who helped ensure the security of the venue, together with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) Madrid.

The event capped the month-long observance of National Women's Month by Madrid PE. The singers remarkably performed covers featuring various classic OPM and rock songs by Ms. Kitchie Nadal, Aegis, Sharon Cuneta, Sarah Geronimo, Imago, Regine Velasquez, and Morisette Amon, with a fabulous rendition of their finale song “Bituing Walang Ningning”.
