DFA Consular Office Clarin and Pao Ozamiz City Offer Free Legal and Notarial Services to Mark the Launch of the CY 2024 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW)

 

CLARIN 11 November 2024 – In support of the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), the DFA Consular Office Clarin, in collaboration with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Ozamiz City, will provide free legal assistance and notarial services to passport applicants on 25 November 2024, 9:00AM to 4:00PM at the DFA Consular Office in Clarin. This initiative is part of the government’s commitment to safeguarding human rights and supporting the empowerment and protection of women in our communities.

The 18-Day Campaign to End VAW is a significant annual event dedicated to raising awareness and taking action against violence toward women and girls. By offering these essential legal services, the DFA CO Clarin and PAO Ozamiz City aim to make legal assistance accessible to those in need and encourage individuals to seek support and exercise their rights.

Passport applicants, both men and women, may take advantage of these free legal services, particularly those in need of immediate assistance with notarial services, legal counseling, and guidance on issues related to violence and abuse. END
