PH Embassy in Yangon Organizes Basic First Aid Training on International Women’s Day

YANGON 11 March 2025 – The Philippine Embassy in Yangon organized this year's first Basic First Aid Training for Filipinos and Myanmar stakeholders in partnership with the Myanmar Red Cross Society on 08 March 2025. The training aimed to provide a gender lens perspective in terms of preparing for contingencies, inclusive of all genders and age.

The activity aligns with the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month in March and International Women's Day, celebrated annually every 8th of March, and finally, as part of the Embassy's year-long Gender and Development mainstreaming initiatives and activities to assist the Filipino Community in Myanmar.
