Philippine Embassy Hosts Fika to Commemorate International Women's Day

STOCKHOLM 18 March 2025 — Philippine Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga hosted a fika for members of the Filipino community in commemoration of the International Women’s Day on 08 March 2025, at the Philippine Embassy in Stockholm.

CDA Gallaga shared this year’s National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) with sub-theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, which reinforces the core objective of RA 9710 or the Magna Carta of Women which is to empower women, promote gender equality, and ensure equitable access to resources and opportunities. The 2025 NWMC further emphasized the need for inclusive progress, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the journey towards equal opportunities and empowerment.  END
