PH Consulate General, OWWA Lebanon Organize Beauty Care Services Training for the Filipino Community in Istanbul

ISTANBUL 21 March 2025 — The Philippine Consulate General in Istanbul, in collaboration with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Lebanon, successfully organized a Beauty Care Services (Basic Facial and Makeup) Training for the Filipino community in Istanbul on 16 March 2025 at the Manila Salon in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The activity aims to provide participants with new knowledge, best practices, and practical skills that will benefit their professional development and effectiveness. It also aims to improve the participants’ ability to take on new responsibilities or explore new opportunities, ensuring long-term sustainability.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Ani Blue, a Filipino businesswoman and the owner of the Manila Salon where the training was held. Among the topics discussed by Ms. Blue are the different types of makeup and facial treatment, the step by step procedure for facial and makeup, various products and essential tools and equipment for facials, etc. Participants also took part in the actual training demonstration.

Fifteen (15) participants were accommodated for the training and were given certificates by the Consulate General and OWWA Lebanon.

The Beauty Care Services (Basic Facial and Makeup) Training also forms part of the Consulate General’s ATN and GAD activities in celebration of the National Women’s Month. END
