Silid Aralan sa Embahada Students Commemorate International Women's Month 2025

STOCKHOLM 03 April 2025 — The students of the Silid Aralan sa Embahada Termino III, organized by the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Education Society (PES), commemorated International Women’s Month with the sub-theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, on Saturday, 22 March 2025, at the  Embassy of the Philippines.

Filipino Mother Tongue Teachers Ms. Rofilleta Refuerzo-Larsson and Jella Miah Batiancila Galabo provided the students with a lesson on the lives and achievements of strong Filipino women and heroes, including Melchora Aquino, Gabriela Silang, Teresa Magbanua, and the first female Philippine President Corazon C. Aquino.

This activity is part of the Embassy’s NWM 2025 celebration.  END
