OTTAWA 08 April 2025 – As part of the month-long celebration of 2025 National Women’s Month, the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa successfully held the #SerbisyoParaKayJuana2025 Saturday Consular Service on 22 March 2025.

The event aimed to provide essential consular services to Filipinos in Ottawa and the surrounding provinces while also honoring the contributions and strength of women across the country. The Saturday schedule allowed for greater accessibility, ensuring that those who work during the weekdays, especially women, had the opportunity to avail of the services.

The Embassy provided Bisita Be My Guest souvenir bags to women clients and treated them to purple-colored snacks. The gesture was specifically designed to honor women and girls, reinforcing the Philippines’ commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women in all aspects of life.

The #SerbisyoParaKayJuana initiative highlights the Embassy’s dedication to providing accessible services while celebrating the important role women play in our society. This event is a small but meaningful way to recognize their contributions and to continue advocating for women empowerment. END
