AUTHENTICATION
27 October 2016 — Philippine Ambassador to Timor-Leste Evelyn D. Austria-Garcia called on Mr. Arcanjo da Silva, Executive Director of TradeInvest Timor-Leste, on October 20 in line with the Embassy’s continuing efforts to enhance the trade and investment ties between the Philippines and Timor-Leste.
During the meeting, Mr. da Silva gave an overview of the investment regime of Timor-Leste which is useful and relevant to Filipino businessmen who wish to invest in the country.
The meeting ended on a positive note with the two parties agreeing to collaborate on areas of mutual interest.
TradeInvest was established by the Timor-Leste Government to promote Timorese exports and investment opportunities in the country and to encourage domestic entrepreneurship. END
